MORNING PRAYER WORSHIP SERVICE in the Chapel
Maxine Thévenot leads the Redeemer Choir from Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr. The service music will include the world premiere of a choral introit by Donald Meineke, in celebration of this being the 20th JumpStart in addition to three Hymn Preludes being premiered by Maxine Thévenot as opening and closing voluntaries composed by Edward Landin, Robert McCormick, and Kathleen Scheide.
BREAKOUT SESSIONS:
Rollo Dilworth: Getting Ready to Sing! Vocal Warmup Activities for Choirs Robert McCormick (substituting for Jeffrey Brillhart:) Adapting Piano Accompaniments and Conducting from the Console. Lauma Akmene and Jonathan Jones will work with Mr. Brillhart on Rutter's "For the Beauty of the Earth" and Honoré's "How Can I Keep From Singing" (copies will be provided). David Storey: Last Minute Repairs and Tuning for Pipe Organs Charlotte Beers Plank and Vince Ryan: Orgelkids – Build a Real Pipe Organ Maxine Thévenot: Eastertide through Trinity Sunday – Choral Reading Session Renée Anne Louprette: Organ Masterclass - bring copies of the following if you'd like to follow along during the masterclass: Shushi Yoshinaga: movements from Nicolas de Grigny's "Veni Creator" and Mary Elizabeth Campbell: movements from Florence Price's "Suite No. 1 for Organ"

CLOSING ORGAN RECITAL in the Sanctuary
Renée Anne Louprette presents a program to include the World Premiere of Five Hymn Preludes composed by five regional composers in celebration of this being the 20thJumpStart. These composers include Paul Fejko, Balint Karosi, Evelyn Larter, Erik Meyer, and David Schelat.

Included: coffee and tea, lunch (assortment of sliders [vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options], salad, fruit, cookies) and the music packet for Maxine Thévenot’s reading session. As always, there will be the Free Music Exchange (sheet music, CDs, books, and more!) and a wonderful exhibit in BMPC’s Gallery: “Feminine Energy” by Sister Helen David Brancato.
